Membership in Adults & Children’s Risk Purchasing Group, Inc offers Family Child Care Providers the ability to participate in the Assure Child Care program that combines Group General Liability Insurance with a separate Accident Insurance policy for your business. If you are looking at purchasing insurance coverage for your family child care business, this section is for you.
Many general liability insurance carriers require business owners to maintain separate accident insurance. The Assure Child Care program is designed to meet these requirements through our combined offering of Group General Liability Insurance with a separate Accident Insurance policy. This is a brief description of coverage and is not intended to amend or alter the conditions and terms of the policies. Complete policies are available for review from the Assure Child Care Provider Service Center- login required for current policy holders.
General Liability insurance addresses certain lawsuits alleging bodily injury, property damage, personal injury, and advertising injury due to the alleged negligence of the operator of a child care provider business. Coverage is based on acts and damage arising solely from a licensed child care operation. No deductible applies.
You select the effective date and the liability limit. Pay for the premium in full or make installments---you decide what works best for you.
Pays Covered Expenses for medical or surgical treatment, services, or supplies as outlined in the policy, that result directly, and from no other cause, from a Covered Accident if the first expense is incurred within 365 days of the date of a Covered Accident.
Benefits are only payable up to $10,000 per Covered Accident:
Pays a lump sum benefit for accidental loss of life, limbs, or sight occurring within 365 days of a Covered Accident.
Coverage is primary for all registered and enrolled students of the policyholder. Benefits will be paid regardless of any other coverage the Covered Person may have. The first expense must be incurred within 365 days of the date of the Covered Accident. No deductible applies.
This applies to providers and all properly licensed/certified employees, including substitutes, of the policyholder only for the Accident Medical and Dental Expense Coverage. If a Covered Person incurs Covered Expenses, the policy pays the applicable benefit, subject to any applicable Deductible. Benefit Period and Benefit Maximum shown on the Schedule of Benefits that are in excess of expenses payable by any other Health Care Plan, regardless of any Coordination of Benefits provision contained in such Health Care Plan. The first expense must be incurred within 365 days from the date of the Covered Accident. No deductible applies. The policy does not cover any loss resulting in whole or part from, or contributed to by, or as a natural or probable consequence of injuries paid under Workers’ Compensation, Employer’s liability laws or similar occupational benefits.
